Meyras, a medieval village, offers a historical heritage linked to the strong periods of its history and to its Roman past. Its name comes from the Latin "Mayor Area" (large camp). At the foot of the Souilhol volcano, in Neyrac-Les-Bains, the thermal baths have been used since Antiquity and are still in use today. Meyras also pays tribute to the trades that have contributed to the life of the village with the Parcours des fresques.
